It’s hard to remember when I repented and turned to faith in Christ for my salvation.  My parents took me to a Lutheran church growing up.  I believe that through Sunday School and learning answers through catechism in elementary school, I came to an understanding of my sin, my sinful nature and my need for a savior.  Since then, I have had various influences responsible for my growth in holiness and knowledge of the Lord.  Daily, I am made aware of my sin and God’s grace and gift of repentance that points me towards Christ.  I trust in God’s grace through the life and death of Christ for my right-standing before our Holy God.  He is both merciful and gracious.

I met my wife Kristi while I was in graduate school at APU.  We started dating and attending church together at Foothill Church around 2013.  At the time, I felt comfortable being an anonymous churchgoer, but it was Kristi who encouraged us to get plugged into a Growth Group and volunteer.  It was at that time that I realized that there was greater joy in being involved and serving in the church than mere weekend consumption. We are grateful for the lifelong friends we have met through the community at Foothill—all of whom we met because God had led us to get involved.

Kristi and I got married in 2018 and we are parents to two lovely children: Olivia and Jordan.  We like walking, going to the park, exercising, watching movies and shows and listening to podcasts together.  We love the mission and the people of Foothill Church and we are excited to be a part of what God is doing.
