I grew up in Pasadena.  Although my family did not attend the Catholic church, my parents sent me to Catholic school and I attended from second to eighth grade.

After graduating from high school in 1989, I started working for a police department in a nearby city where I became a Jailer.  I attended the police academy and became a Police Officer in 1995.

Also In 1995, I met my wife Cindy and we married the following year. Within a year, we moved to Glendora where we raised our two sons, Jonathan and Brandon.

In 2006, I began feeling like something was missing from my life. I had a good job, a great family and all “the stuff,” but I knew I did not have God in my life. I began my search for God by attending local churches. I eventually found a church and we started faithfully attending as a family, but I was still not fully committed. Around the same time the Lord sent a friend into my life, a fellow Police Officer, who was bold enough to share the Gospel with me. He had recently been saved. I was truly confronted with my sin and began to understand that Jesus died for me and my sins. I committed my life to Jesus as my Lord and Savior and was baptized shortly after.

A few months later, my wife trusted in Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized also. I’m still amazed that God called both of us to Himself. Looking back, I can see God’s hand on many things that happened in my life even before He called me.

We started attending Foothill Church in 2012. We immediately got connected by serving on Sundays and signed up for Growth Groups. We love Foothill Church and are very excited for what God is doing.
