Help bring a joyful Christmas to the homes of Stanton Elementary families.
Over the past several years we have been able to partner with Stanton Elementary for Affordable Christmas! Hosted by Stanton, Families of all financial backgrounds from the school are invited to enjoy a breakfast with Santa as well as an “Affordable Toy Shop” to be able to provide gifts to their children on Christmas morning. This year, on December 7, we have the opportunity again to join with Stanton Elementary for this incredible event.

Foothill has had a longstanding and supportive relationship with Stanton Elementary for many years. Through this event, an annual backpack drive, and more, the generosity of the community of Foothill have benefited children of Stanton and their families in numerous ways. We would like to continue to partner with them and grow in our faithfulness to these families in our local community.
While the toys are donated, they are sold in the toy shop for a 90% reduced rate so parents have the opportunity to select and purchase gifts with dignity for their kids. Any proceeds that are made from the toy shop are either put towards the school or put back into the program so we may continue to offer this incredible event year after year to the families of the school.
If there are any leftover toys at the end of the event, Foothill will donate them to one of our additional ministries that we support that would benefit from the donation like the Neighborhood Homework House or others.
With our new strategy of having one general fund, donations are a little different this year. Whenever you donate to Foothill Church, a portion of this does impact our ministry efforts (like Affordable Christmas!). However if you want to donate directly to the Affordable Christmas efforts, you can purchase a Target or Walmart gift card and we’ll do the shopping for you!

Sunday, December 1 will be the last day to drop off toys before Affordable Christmas takes place on December 7.
On your way into church on Sunday, drop them off in the black bin in the lobby. Or, you can have them delivered to the Baseline campus offices.
