Kids Weekly for K–5th

Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend in Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth for Sunday was “Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. “ We looked at Matthew 27:62-28:16; Mark 16:1-13; Luke 24:1-12; John 20:1-18 and learned about Jesus rising on the third day.

Here are a few questions for you to discuss with your kiddo:

QUESTION 1: What happened to the soldiers who were guarding the tomb when Jesus rose from the dead? They trembled and fell to the ground as dead men.

QUESTION 2: What did the angel tell the women to say to the disciples? The angel told the women to go quickly and tell the disciples that Jesus had risen from the dead.

QUESTION 3: Why is the resurrection so important? With his resurrection, Jesus defeated sin and death and proved everything he had said was true. If he had not risen, he could not have been God.
