Everyone has a worldview, a lens through which they see the world. The question isn’t whether you have one, but where it comes from. Is it shaped by culture, your upbringing, your own opinions, or by something far greater?
As Christians, we aren’t called to create our own truth. We are called to submit to Jesus Christ and to His Word. God has spoken, and Scripture is the final authority for every area of life. But in order to live out Scripture, we must learn how to rightly handle and interpret it. We are called to be Men of the Word—men whose thinking, priorities, relationships, and decisions are shaped by the Bible.
Join us for Men of the Word as we learn how to rightly read God’s Word and faithfully apply it to every area of life. Through biblical teaching, practical workshops, and meaningful fellowship, we’ll be equipped to think biblically and live faithfully.
- This conference is for men in every age and stage of life and is recommended for high school students and older.

Over two days, we’ll gather for biblical teaching, practical workshops, great food, meaningful time with other men, and plenty of fun and competition along the way. Together, we’ll be challenged and equipped to know God’s Word, handle it faithfully, and apply it to every area of life.

Workshop Session 1: Handling God's Word
Each attendee will have the option to select one workshop to attend from each session on the registration form.

Reading the Bible and studying the Bible aren’t always the same thing. How do you move beyond simply reading the words on the page to understanding what God intended to communicate? This workshop will introduce practical tools for studying Scripture, including observation, context, interpretation, and application. Learn how to ask the right questions, avoid common mistakes, and discover the author’s intended meaning so you can faithfully apply God’s Word to your life.

Anyone who wants to grow in their confidence and ability to study the Bible for themselves—from the brand-new believer to the lifelong Christian looking to deepen their understanding. Whether you’ve been reading the Bible for years or don’t know where to begin, you’ll leave with a simple framework for studying God’s Word with confidence.

“Why Would God Say That?”

Some passages of Scripture are confusing, challenging, or seem impossible to defend. What do we do with violence, apparent contradictions, or difficult commands? Rather than avoiding these texts, this workshop will look at some of the most common types of “problem passages” and teach principles for reading difficult passages faithfully and confidently.

And how do you shepherd your children through difficult conversations about sex, gender, dating, and the pressures of our culture? This workshop will cast a biblical vision for fatherhood and provide practical tools for leading your family with confidence, consistency, and the truth of God’s Word.

Fathers, grandfathers, future fathers, and any man who desires to faithfully lead the next generation. Whether your children are young, grown, or not yet here, this workshop will encourage and equip you to make disciples in your home.
