What to Know for Tonight!
Series: The Obedience of Faith
Message: The legacy of Faith
Text: Hebrews 11:17-22
Hey Parents!
This week our students studied Hebrews 11:17–22, looking at Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph – four generations who lived by faith.
We talked about how real faith often costs something, but it also passes something on. Abraham’s obedience showed his children what it means to trust God completely, even when it hurts. Each generation after him kept believing in God’s promises—even when they couldn’t see them fulfilled.
Encourage your student this week to think about what kind of faith legacy they’re building. Ask them what sacrifices might be worth making to stay faithful to God, and how their choices could impact the people who come after them.
Important Reminder!
Impact is a phone-free environment from the time students arrive until small groups end at 8:30 p.m. If you need to reach your student in an emergency, please text us at 626-761-0229 and we’ll respond right away. Our goal is to give them freedom from distraction so they can fully engage with one another and with God’s Word.

October Catechism
Who is God?
God is the Creator of everyone and everything. He is holy, loving, and good; there is no darkness in Him. He is eternal, infinite, and sovereign. There is only one true God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is a God who desires to be known.
Scripture – 1 Chronicles 17:20
There is none like you, O Lord, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Conversation Question:
Why is the trinity such a concept to understand? How can we understand it better? Why is it worth seeking to understand the nature of God?
