FOOTHILL CHURCH INSTITUTE
We have partnered with Spurgeon College at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and are excited to provide a pathway to undergraduate class credit through our Training Program. These credit hours may be applied to an undergraduate degree program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees) at Spurgeon College, and qualifying students may submit credit for graduate-level Advanced Standing consideration at Midwestern Seminary (up to one-third of a Master’s degree).
At Foothill Church Institute (FCI), we believe that everyone is a theologian.
We believe that the local church is the organism that Jesus Christ has entrusted with theological education and the discipleship of believers (Matthew 28:18-20). Through transformative discipleship environments inside the church, we hope to make the Bible and theological education accessible to everyone.
That’s why we have partnered with Spurgeon College at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and are excited to provide a pathway to undergraduate class credit through our Training Program. These credit hours may be applied to an undergraduate degree program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees) at Spurgeon College, and qualifying students may submit credit for graduate-level Advanced Standing consideration at Midwestern Seminary (up to one-third of a Master’s degree).
There are no additional costs to register for our Training Program with Foothill Church Institute but space is limited. Courses in the Training Program are equivalent to college-level courses offered at Spurgeon College, the undergraduate division of Midwestern. This program is meant for growing disciples and developing church leaders. The total course load for each class is about 135 hours over 11 weeks.
