Kids Weekly for K–5th

Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend in Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth was “God’s blessing and salvation extend to people of every nation.“ We looked at Ruth 1-4 and learned about the story of Ruth.

Here are a few questions for you to discuss with your kiddo:

QUESTION 1: What did Ruth do to show she trusted the Lord? Ruth stopped believing in false gods and said Naomi’s God would be her God.

QUESTION 2: How did God use Boaz to care for Ruth? Boaz told his men not to chase Ruth away and to leave some of the barley in the field for Ruth to find. Then he also gave her lunch to eat.

QUESTION 3: What is a redeemer? A redeemer is a person who buys back something that is lost. In our story, a redeemer is a person who would buy back land that was sold because a family needed money.

QUESTION 4: How did Jesus Redeem us? Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. Once the penalty was paid, all those who trust in Jesus get a home in heaven with God. Jesus bought us back with the blood He shed on the cross.
