Kids Weekly for K–5th

Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend in Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth was “The true source of our strength is God.“ We looked at Judges 16: 4-31 and learned about God giving Samson strength.

Here are a few questions for you to discuss with your kiddo:

QUESTION 1: What is pride? How did Samson’s pride blind him? Pride is when we think more highly of ourselves that we should. Samson thinks he can rely on his own strength to get him out of any danger.

QUESTION 2: Can you think of an area of your life where you have been proud? Parents, help your children here. Remember, we often cannot see our own pride.

QUESTION 3: Who does Samson love more than God? Samson loves Delilah and himself more than God.

QUESTION 4: How is Samson different at the end of his story? Samson is no longer proud, thinking he can do things without God, in his own strength.
