Kids Weekly for K–5th

Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend in Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth was “God saves his people individually.“ We looked at Numbers 21: 4-9 and learned about God healing Israel with a bronze snake.

Here are a few questions for you to discuss with your kiddo:

QUESTION 1: How are we weak like Israel? We can fall into the same pattern of sin as they did- one day obeying and the very next day disobeying.

QUESTION 2: Who does the bronze snake on the pole point forward to? The bronze snake on the pole points forward to Jesus, who was lifted up on a cross and died for our sins so we could be forgiven.

QUESTION 3: What happened when the people who were bitten by the snakes looked up at the bronze snake on the pole? They were healed.

QUESTION 4: What happens when we look to Jesus who was lifted up on the cross and died for us? When we place our trust in Jesus and believe that God lifted him up to take our punishment, we are forgiven of our sins.  This is like being healed of our worst disease.
