Kids Weekly for K–5th

Foothill Kids   -

Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend at Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth for this Sunday was “God’s Promise is Preserved in Drought and Sin. We looked at Genesis 41:46-44:34 and learned about God providing for the Israelites in Famine.

Here are a few questions for you to discuss with your kiddo:

QUESTION 1: When the famine hit, all of Egypt had to eat bread made of grain for seven years! How would you like eating the same thing for seven years? (kids response)

QUESTION 2: What do you think the brothers thought when they opened their sacks and found the money? No. Joseph was all grown up and dressed like a king.

QUESTION 3: What does it mean to show mercy to someone (like Joseph did to his brothers)? If you show mercy, you don’t punish them for the wrong things that they do. Instead, you forgive them. God showed us mercy by sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so we could be forgiven.
