Kids Weekly for K–5th

Foothill Kids   -

Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend in Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth for Sunday was Jesus’ triumphal entry as King prepares the road to the cross.  We looked at Luke 19 and learned about Jesus entering Jerusalem.

Here are a few questions for you to discuss with your kiddo:

QUESTION 1: Why did the people call Jesus a king? God promised through his prophets that a deliverer would come to his people and that there would always be a king on the throne. They believed that Jesus was the one the prophets said would come!

QUESTION 2: What does “Hosanna” mean? The crowd who celebrated Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem shouted “Hosanna!” which means, “God Saves!”, “Hooray for Salvation!” We can celebrate Jesus this Easter season by shouting, “Hosanna!”

QUESTION 3: In our story we learned that some worshiped Jesus while others rejected him. How is this true today? Just like in Jesus’ day, not everyone believes when we share the gospel with others. Some may reject the good news because their hearts are hard. But, those who do believe in the gospel can celebrate the free gift of salvation!

This month we are learning 1 John 4:18-19 for our Love of God rap:
