Kids Weekly for K–5th
Hey Parents! We are so glad your kiddo joined us this weekend in Foothill Kids. Our Bible Truth for today was “Sin comes from Man’s Disobedience.“ We looked at Genesis 3:1-24 as Adam and Eve disobeyed God.
Here are a few questions for your ride home:
QUESTION 1: What is sin? Sin is anything we think, say or do that does not obey God and his word.
QUESTION 2: What did Adam and Eve do after they had sinned? They heard God walking in the Garden and they knew they had disobeyed God, so they hid.
QUESTION 3: Have you ever tried to hide something you did wrong? What could you have done instead? Help kids be brave and share their sin by being vulnerable and sharing your own sin. Instead of hiding our sin, we can confess and ask God to forgive our sin.
QUESTION 4: What did God do to rescue us from the punishment of sin? He sent his Son Jesus to live a perfect life here on earth and then die for our sin as the ultimate sacrifice so that all who put their faith in Jesus can be with Him in heaven forever.
