Kids Weekly for K–5th
Hey Parents! This weekend in Foothill Kids we reviewed the events of the New Testament. Our Bible Truth is: God’s Big Story points us to the gospel-the good news! We read through several New Testament passages and reviewed 12 major events of the New Testament.
Here are some questions for your ride home:
QUESTION 1: What is the gospel? The gospel is the good news! If one were to sum up the gospel in one verse, it would be John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, [a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
QUESTION 2: What is the Great Commission? The great commission is the command Jesus gave to all his followers to go and share the good news of the gospel with others. (Matt. 28:16-20)
QUESTION 3: Is God’s Big Story over? No. God’s Big Story continues on into eternity. And as followers of Jesus, we are invited into His story to love and serve him as we share the gospel with others.
