Lesson: He is Infinite, Eternal, and Sovereign
Scipture: Romans 8:28-30, John 1:1-5, and Romans 1:18-23.

Tonight we’re taking a break from our normal schedule to have a worship night! We’ve rearranged our sanctuary so the band is in the middle and everyone is closer together for worship. We’ll lead the students through short times of prayer and reflection. Then we’ll end with some ice cream! Looking forward to a great night!

Take a look below and see how you can talk to your teen tonight about what they learned.

October Catechism

Who is God?

God is the Creator of everyone and everything. He is holy, loving, and good; there is no darkness in Him. He is eternal, infinite, and sovereign. There is only one true God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is a God who desires to be known.

Scripture – 1 Chronicles 17:20

There is none like you, O Lord, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Conversation Question:

Why is the trinity such a concept to understand? How can we understand it better? Why is it worth seeking to understand the nature of God?
